How To Brand Your Ain Christmas Ornaments (Part 3)

I went to my local Dollar Tree too constitute giant crystal vase filler. It had never occurred to me before to purpose these until before inwards the year. I had bought some crystal vase filler from Target for roughly $10 a few months agone too I noticed that all of the crystals had piffling holes inwards them similar beads.

So, needless to say, the lightbulb went off when I constitute these packages of vase filler (with the holes) at the Dollar Tree for $1 per bag. There were tons of dissimilar colors, too.

I chose uncomplicated clear 'crystals'. They're but plastic, but they hold off real. (I fifty-fifty had a few left over REAL crystal droplets left over from a chandelier install. I used the existent crystals intermittently throughout some of the ornaments, too they hold off almost identical to the plastic ones.)

I also needed smaller crystal clear beads, a few pearls, too some sparse jewelry wire.

I attached swirly metallic hooks to the tops of the ornaments.

I ended upwards making a bunch of dissimilar ornaments.

So, here's how yous brand these.

Cut a 12'' slice of jewelry wire. (Or create upwards one's take away heed how long yous wishing your ornament to live too multiply past times 2. For example: for a three inch long ornament, cutting a vi inch slice of wire.)

Pick a large bead amongst the hole on the top. Thread the wire through the hole, pulling it fifty-fifty on both sides. Then, add together a few small-scale beads to each side of the wire.

Continue that procedure a few times.

When your ornament is at the desired length, crimp 1 side of the wire downward into a hoop.
